Join us in meeting, Christina DeRita, a native of Providence, RI, has been assisting our community with insurance needs for nearly 20 years. She also co-founded the Professional Women of New England networking group, dedicated to building a supportive community for women in business. Christina will be sharing valuable insights she’s gained over the years in both work and life.

Also, get to know Sara Monteiro, an African/Cape Verdean/African American and native of Providence, channels her talents and focus into providing quality service for underrepresented communities through education and community organizing. Passionate about fostering collaboration among community partners, Sara works to create spaces that champion equal and diverse representation. Her goal is to preserve culture and history through poetry, and as a resident artist at CIC, she uses storytelling to highlight her rich heritage as a first-generation Cape Verdean. She is the proud owner of Distant.Relatives LLC. and OUTSPOKEN.
