Come join us for our women's singing circle. We will learn the different components of a few songs and sing together.
For too long, so many of us have been told to be quiet, seen, and not heard. We can all sing and contribute; we just sound different. Singing is so basic and primal, and our bodies are made to resonate. Singing is freeing.
A beautiful example of what we hope to achieve is by the singer Olivia Fern. When she announced her last tour, she decided that she was going to host women's singing circles at each stop along the way. She recorded a song with one of those groups of women called "When We Sing". It was released on International Women's Day this year. This is one of the main inspirations of this circle.
So if you would like to raise your voice in fellowship as we learn some songs, come up to the beautiful church on the hill, Unity by the Bay!
If you aren't up to singing, but would like to be a part of the energies, please come. Being in community, song and the rhythm of life is the goal here.
