About this Event
Join a Women's History Month "Philly History Pop Up" on the topic of the Centennial Exposition–-the world’s fair that drew 10 million people to Fairmount Park in 1876, in honor of the country's 100th Birthday. Learn what came from the Expo, where all those buildings went and how women saved the day! The topic is especially timely as Philadelphia prepares for the nation’s 250th in 2026.
PHILLY HISTORY POP UPS are free, entertaining presentations on intriguing but little-known Philly stories connected to people, places or historic events. They're led by veteran tourism marketer, Cara Schneider Bongiorno.
