Women's Orchestra of Arizona presents; "Women in Music", on Oct 17 2021.

The program features works of women composers Fanny Hensel Mendelssohn, Joan Tower, and Clara Wieck Schumann. Highlights of the program include two solo performances - pianist Astrid Morales and violist Hana Giauque. Astrid Morales has an extensive soloist career and is a graduate of the National Conservatory of Music in Mexico City. In addition, she has earned a Doctor of Musical Arts degree at Arizona State University. Hana Giauque is a musician and educator in the valley, earning her Master of Music degree in Viola Performance at Arizona State University. She has performed internationally and charms audiences with a range of music from classical to fiddling. We are excited to present two homegrown talents!

Masks are required and temperatures will be taken at the door. Required free tickets are available on Eventbrite.
