About this Event
The Atlanta Black Chambers Women’s League is proud to introduce the Elevate Project Government Contracting Cohort—a groundbreaking educational program designed to empower entrepreneurs, including established businesses currently winning private or corporate contracts, who are new to government contracting. This initiative serves as the cornerstone of our mission to elevate minority women-owned businesses, by providing the tools and knowledge necessary to thrive in the competitive world of government contracting.
The Elevate Project Government Contracting Cohort is specifically tailored for entrepreneurs seeking to navigate the complexities of government procurement. Over the course of the program, participants will gain foundational knowledge about the contracting process, explore strategies to position their businesses for success, and learn how to leverage certifications and partnerships to secure government contracts.
THIS IS THE INFORMATION SESSION FOR YOU TO LEARN MORE ABOUT THE COHORT. Join us on Tuesday, Jan. 28th to learn more about the cohort, cohort requirements, the application process, and the next steps for the program.
Why Join the Elevate Project Government Contracting Cohort?
Unmatched Educational Experience: Learn from seasoned professionals with extensive experience in government contracting. Our interactive sessions demystify the process and break it down into actionable steps.
Strategic Positioning: Discover how to register your business, identify lucrative opportunities, and submit competitive bids.
Access to Resources: Gain insights into small business certifications such as 8(a), HUBZone, and WOSB (Women-Owned Small Business), which can give you a competitive edge in securing contracts.
Networking Opportunities: Build connections with fellow entrepreneurs and industry leaders, creating opportunities for partnerships and collaborations.
Growth and Diversification: Position your business to tap into a market that remains robust during economic downturns, providing stability and resilience for your operations.
Becoming a government contractor transforms your business. It establishes credibility, opens doors to larger contracts, and positions you as a key player in your industry. This market provides small businesses with set-aside opportunities, meaning that certain contracts are exclusively available to businesses like yours. These programs ensure fair competition and create pathways for underrepresented entrepreneurs to succeed.
To learn more meet us at the Russell Center on January 28th.
We will be in the UPS Launchpad room.
