Women's Leadership Salon
About this Event
Women's Leadership Salon
Thursday, August 27, 2026 from 3–5pm ET
The Frontier RTP, 800 Park Offices Dr., Durham, NC
As the summer winds down, and we prepare for the fall season, we're in a back-to-school mood. We're reflecting on the resources, skills, and wisdom we need to add to our "backpack" for our next chapter. At this month's gathering, we'll honor transitions and set intentions for what's next. Our leadership journeys often ask us to reflect: What are we ready to release? What do we need to carry forward? Together, we'll explore the transitions ahead—perhaps new projects, new roles, new horizons, or new seasons of life—and intentionally release what's no longer needed and resource ourselves for the adventures to come.
Theme
Navigating Transitions and Setting Intentions for Fall 2026 and Beyond
Transitions—whether expected or unexpected—invite us to pause and take stock. As leaders undergoing transition, we often move forward without fully acknowledging what we've outgrown but are still carrying and what new resources we need. Our Salon creates space to reflect on the transitions ahead and intentionally choose what to release and what to carry forward into your next chapter.
In this Salon, we'll explore questions such as:
- What transitions are you navigating or preparing for this fall season and beyond?
- What resources, skills, and wisdom do you need to add to your "backpack" for this next chapter?
- What beliefs, habits, identities, and expectations no longer serve you and are ready to be released?
- How do we honor who we are and the wisdom we've gained while also making space for growth and new possibilities?
Challenge / Prompt
Come prepared to discuss: As we prepare for a leadership transition we're undertaking in the fall of 2026 and beyond, what do we need to release and what new resources do we need to add to our personal backpack?
We'll reflect on transitions, intentions, and the intersections of identities, habits, wisdom, and new possibilities as we prepare for fresh starts.
