Women's Health Day and Retreat 2024

We are excited to announce that the Louisiana Center for Health Equity along with our partners will be presenting the "Women's Health Day & Retreat 2024: Healthy Minds, Healthy Bodies, Healthy Communities." Our twelfth annual, this advocacy day and seminar will be held at the State Capitol in Baton Rouge on May 16, from 9:00 AM to 2:30 PM coinciding with National Women’s Health Week.

The day will begin with a Press Conference on the Capitol and exhibit tables in the Rotunda at 9:00 AM followed by Lunch at noon. Finally, a Seminar from 1:00 PM until 2:30 PM at the Louisiana Department of Health (LDH). The event will focus on factors impacting women's health and women's health outcomes. This event activities are free and open to the public. General admission registration is encouraged.

General Admission - FREE until May 16th.

Lunch - $20 until May 10th.

Seminar - FREE until May 16th or until at capacity. First come first serve.
