Women's Health Day 2025

The Louisiana Center for Health Equity (LCHE), in partnership with the Campaign to Establish the Louisiana Office on Women’s Health and the Governor’s Office on Women’s Policy, is thrilled to invite you to Women’s Health Week 2025. This year’s theme, "Women’s Health: Happenings, Hurdles, and Hope," shines a spotlight on the critical issues affecting women’s health. From safeguarding access to healthcare services and Medicaid to maternal mental health and the challenges of maternal and infant mortality—these vital topics reflect the overall well-being of our communities.

As we commemorate the 13th Annual Women’s Health Week in Louisiana, we’re thrilled to introduce fresh, engaging events designed to inspire, uplift, and empower women while promoting healthier, stronger families.

Gather for an engaging day featuring inspiring discussions and a light lunch. Wednesday, May 14, 2025, from 10 AM to 2 PM, at the Capitol.

This year, we’re aiming to promote healthier women, children, and families across Louisiana. We’re anticipating a vibrant turnout of women from all over the state—don’t miss this opportunity to connect and make a difference!
