This workshop empowers women ages 35+ trying to navigate perimenopause and menopause with knowledge and exercises focused on maintaining a strong pelvic floor. Learn about the importance of pelvic floor health during this life stage and participate in a guided exercise session designed to enhance pelvic strength and stability.Part 1: What is normal vs not during perimenopause and menopause?
-strategies for low libido
-vaginal dryness and pain with intercourse
-urinary incontinence (leaking urine when cough, exercise, laugh, etc)
-changes in bathroom habits " urgency.. I gotta go now!
-going to the bathroom "just in case"
-limiting water intake to decrease bathroom trips?
-when to do kegels and when not to
Part 2: Intro to pelvic floor exercises including strengthening and breathing.. (wear clothes to move around in, this is all levels friendly)
