Women's Focused Constable Information Session - ORILLIA

The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is hosting an event to support candidates on their journey to becoming police officers.

This event is intentionally designed to support women who are exploring a career in policing. It provides a welcoming space to ask questions and address common barriers specific to women considering this profession.

To preserve the purpose and environment of the event, registration is reserved for women (including those who are cis, trans, AFAB and non-binary). If you do not identify as part of this audience, we sincerely appreciate your interest and encourage you to explore our other recruitment events and information sessions that are open to all applicants.

La Police provinciale de l’Ontario (Police provinciale) organise un événement qui vise à soutenir les candidates et candidats dans leur démarche à se joindre à la police.

La conception de cet événement est intentionnelle car elle vise à encourager les femmes qui contemplent une carrière au sein de la police. L’événement fournit un espace qui se prête favorablement aux questions et à des échanges sur les obstacles que confrontent généralement les femmes envisageant de faire carrière à la police.

Dans le but de préserver l’objectif de l’événement et le milieu où il se tient, l’inscription est réservée aux femmes seulement (y compris celles qui sont cisgenre, transgenre, celles à qui le sexe féminin a été assigné à la naissance ou qui sont non binaire). Si vous ne vous identifiez pas comme faisant partie de cette audience, nous apprécions sincèrement votre intérêt et vous encourageons à considérer nos autres événements de recrutement et séances d’information où n’importe quel candidate ou candidat peut se présenter.

If you are unable to attend this registered event, please be sure that you cancel your reservation to allow someone else to take your place. If you are unable to attend and you do not notify the recruitment team, a no show will be documented on your file.

PLEASE BRING PHOTO IDENTIFICATION, it will be checked at the door. Name on ID must match name on ticket, one ticket per/person.

DRESS CODE - Professional business attire only. No jeans, shorts, hoodies, baseball caps, or ripped clothing.
