What do we cover?

1) Getting Started - the scary decision to get started with your business and what you need to do to make sure it is ready for growth.

2) Positioning yourself - when you are a new business it can be hard trying to get out there. What you have to do is get around a supportive group of people that want to see you succeed. In most cases, that won't be your immediate family or friends. Sometimes you have to get in other circles that are thinking big so that you can allow yourself to think big as well.

3) Communicating - you have to learn how to effectively communicate and you need to make sure where you are communicating your audience is paying attention. If you are doing a lot of speaking and no one is listening, chances are you are talking to the wrong audience.

4) Preparing yourself for the big opportunities - in order for you to be ready for big opportunities you have to make sure you are prepared for the little ones. While you are working on the smaller opportunities that gives you time to figure out your flow of operations. A lot of times when we start a business we want as many customers as we can get but what if you don't have the capacity to service them all??? Bad news travels fast, so you want to make sure if you get 5 or 10 customers you overdeliver for all of them and then try to bring on more clients.

It is great to have a business, you can literally design the life you want to have by incorporating the tools and strategies we will be covering. What separates our workshops from others is that we will share with you ways to take action in your respective industries so that you can start having success in your field.

Our Keynote Speaker is Lennise Germany

Lennise Germany is the CEO of Livy O’s Catering Company. From humble beginnings selling meals from the trunk the family car in 2014 to performing over 2000 meals per day for charter and private schools, a preferred vendor for the Florida Department of Agriculture, a wedding & banquet caterer, and was one of 16 caterers for the 2021 NFL Super Bowl.

As one of the Bay Area’s most sought after caterers, Livy O’s, under Lennise’s leadership, is not slowing down! As a chef, Lennise is routinely seen on ABC, NBC, and Fox television stations performing routine demonstrations. She is the wife of Omar Germany, the mother of 6 children, and a humble servant of her community by serving on the board of the YMCA and the Greater Brandon Chamber of Commerce. Lennise’s motto in life is that she can do anything until she can’t!
