Women's Defensive Pistol Class - July 19th
This course is designed to help responsible firearm owners develop the knowledge, skills, and mindset necessary to effectively defend themselves and others in a critical incident. Students will learn the principles of defensive handgun use through classroom instruction and practical exercises focused on real-world application.
Topics covered include:
Defensive mindset and situational awareness
The "Avoid, Escape, Defend" decision-making process
Understanding use of force considerations
Cover vs. concealment
Effective voice commands and communication
Marksmanship vs. defensive shooting
Drawing safely and efficiently from the holster
Loading, unloading, and reloading techniques
Practicing with purpose to build and maintain skills
Dry Fire and Live Fire
Upon completion of the classroom portion, students will apply these concepts during a live-fire range session designed to reinforce defensive shooting basics and decision-making under realistic conditions.

Defensive handgun
Your prefered carry holsters
Eye and electronic ear protection
150 rounds of ammunition
Appropriate range attire
BarrelBlok (available for puchase at check-in $15 if you do not have one)
