Self-Care Through Community
Together we'll discuss what self-care means & the areas in our lives we can apply it. We’ll explore self- care practices through meditation, music & being more compassionate toward ourselves. We’ll also acknowledge our inner wisdom. When you take time to know yourself, you will find more of the real YOU. That also is where the deepest truth of our union with the Spirit lies. Breakfast & lunch will be catered by Heartline Cafe. Please email the church office if you have dietary requirements. Wear comfortable clothes.

Led by: Our retreat will be lead by speaker, singer/pianist, Mary Hollan. Originally from Aberdeen, South Dakota, now living in Goodyear, AZ., Mary has spent her life in ministry as a musician and speaker, Most recently, she facilitated the Desert Southwest United Methodist Women in Faith Retreat in Phoenix. Arizona.
When asked how she describes her retreats Mary says, “Read John 15:15, ( Everything I’ve been taught I’ve made known to you!) it has given me the vision for where we start. I admire every woman who attends a retreat because when you take time to know yourself, you will find more of the real YOU. That also is where the deepest truth of our union with the Spirit lies. We as women, are natural encouragers, always bringing so much positive energy for each other, it makes us feel fearless and validated when we leave.”
