THIS EVENT IS EXCLUSIVELY FOR WOMEN & TRANSMASCULINE AND NON-BINARY PEOPLE
In 2024, MoMu organized the first women-only event as part of the Augurism. exhibition by artist Baloji, dedicated to Tshala, a character from his film Augure. In honour of International Women's Day, a second edition now follows.
On Saturday, 8 March, PULSE curates an inclusive and empowering programme that ensures safer spaces for women, transmasculine and non-binary people.
PULSE was founded by Stencia Yambogaza and Mariana Benenge, with the aim of offering women, but also transmasculine and non-binary people, a safer space to come together. As Black lesbian women, the founders welcome all women wish to reclaim their bodies, desires, and sexuality.
The evening consists of an all-female lineup of DJs and performers. DJs Lola Ondi Kwa and 22heures30 will deliver sets that keep you dancing, while dancers Aoki Da Snake and La Dingue heat up the MoMu Atrium. Host GG Palmer will keep the vibe going throughout the evening. And, as the crowning moment: a spectacular showcase by singer-songwriter Drea Dury.

In 2024 organiseerde MoMu het eerste women-only event in het kader van de tentoonstelling Augurism. van kunstenaar Baloji, opgedragen aan Tshala, een van de personages uit zijn film Augure. Naar aanleiding van Internationale Vrouwendag volgt nu een tweede editie.
Op zaterdag 8 maart cureert PULSE een inclusief en empowerend programma dat safer spaces garandeert voor vrouwen, transmasculine en non-binaire personen.
PULSE werd opgericht door Stencia Yambogaza en Mariana Benenge, met als doel vrouwen, maar ook transmasculine en non-binaire personen, een veiligere plek bieden om samen te komen. Als Zwarte lesbische vrouwen richten de founders zich tot alle vrouwen die hun lichaam, verlangens en seksualiteit willen opeisen.
De avond bestaat uit een volledig vrouwelijke line-up van DJ’s en performers. DJ’s Lola Ondi Kwa en 22heures30 zorgen voor muziek waarbij je niet stil blijft staan en dansers Aoki Da Snake en La Dingue doen het MoMu Atrium zweten. Host GG Palmer houdt de sfeer een avond lang op peil. En als hoogtepunt: een spetterende showcase van singer-songwriter Drea Dury.
