Women's Circle | A Space In Between

ASIB is thrilled to announce a special event, a gathering for Women’s Circle, hosted by the Amanda Visger

The concept of women’s circles trace back to ancient times with the motivation to foster connection, seek guidance, and share wisdom.

In modern day, the framework of daily living leaves little room for authentic connection. This is a relaxed and intimate space to connect to the community through mindful conversation.

The intent is to break down the walls that isolate women from one another and strengthen the invisible bonds between people of marginalized genders in Sacramento. It also aims to create an uplifting and empowering experience through mindfulness. Although the event is called a “women’s” circle, it welcomes those that identify as genderfluid or gender non-conforming.

The evening will start with a guided meditation, then transition to a group conversation. Members will have the opportunity to share, if they desire, and listen to others. This is not group therapy, but a space to be heard, witnessed, and find meaning. Light refreshments will be provided.

In addition, we invite you to immerse yourself in the captivating group exhibition titled "Efflorescence" featuring a diverse range of talented artists. As an extra treat, indulge in curated gifts crafted by women artists.
