Women's Business Networking

The Business & IP Centre Northamptonshire has teamed up with the Women’s Forum to offer a free networking event for business women and women who are thinking of starting their own business.

Whether you’re new to networking or an old hand, this group will offer a friendly supportive environment for you to build connections with other female business owners.

Agenda

Our speaker will be Maddie The Happy Celebrant.

Maddie Adams is an ethical, award-winning celebrant, with a passion for inclusion and a commitment to the environment. She aims to bring a 'happy vibe' to all her ceremonies.

After a successful career in education, she trained as an Independent Celebrant in 2024 and took her first ceremony in 2025 -and since then she hasn’t looked back! She absolutely loves being able to help people at some of the most significant times of their lives, whether that's conducting their wedding ceremony, or leading a celebration of a life well-lived. But she also creates ceremonies for all major life events, whether that's a baby-naming, a croning ceremony or a thanksgiving for the life of a much-loved pet.

In her session Maddie will:

• Give a brief explanation of the role of a celebrant
• Share what she’s learnt as a funeral celebrant and the importance of removing one of the burdens for families, by writing down our own funeral wishes
• Help attendees to complete their own easy funeral summary sheet

This networking event is an in-person event and is for people living in the UK only.
