Picture yourself walking the dusty roads of Galilee beside Jesus—pressing through the crowds, reaching out just to touch the hem of His cloak, and hearing Him speak life-giving words: “Take heart, daughter; your faith has healed you.”Those words, spoken to a hurting woman centuries ago, still echo with hope for us today.
In this 7-session study, biblical culturalist Kristi McLelland will guide you back into the world of Jesus. You’ll step into the culture and context of the first century, encounter the women who met Him face-to-face, and discover how their stories illuminate His heart. As you explore the historical and cultural backdrop of Scripture, you’ll come to know Jesus more deeply—and find your worship of Him renewed in the present.
This will start Thursday, October 2 and will run for 7 weeks from 6-7 PM. The cost is $25 for the book.
