Join Women Who Whiskey Twin Cities on the road! Get ready for our first day trip to visit two Duluth distilleries. Private group transportation to and from the Twin Cities and between both distillery locations is included in this day full of fun so you can sit back and enjoy the ride.
Our first stop will be Canal Park's Vikre Distillery, a woman-owned business and the first distillery to open to the public in Duluth in 2014. We will settle into the private Barrel Room with lunch from Northern Waters Smokehaus, included with your ticket, then embark on a facility tour and guided tasting with founder Emily Vikre. Afterward, enjoy a cocktail and peruse the gift shop to make any bottle and merch purchases.
We will then head to the buzzy Lincoln Park neighborhood to visit the newly opened Duluth Whiskey Project. While the cocktail room opened to the public in July 2025, the Duluth Whiskey Project has been in the making since 2013! We will enjoy a welcome cocktail, then hear from one of the brand’s founders for a tour and tasting. After the program, there will be time for bottle or merch purchases, additional food or drink, and time in the space before we head back to the Twin Cities.
Tickets are $320 and include private tours and tastings at each distillery, one cocktail at each distillery, lunch, chartered bus transportation with air conditioning from the Twin Cities to both Duluth distilleries and back (including restroom/stretch breaks), gratuity, local sales tax, and ticket processing fees.
Schedule
9 am - leave Twin Cities area
10:15 am - Hinckley restroom/stretch break
12:00 pm - arrive at Vikre distillery for lunch
12:30 pm - Vikre tour, tasting, and presentation
1:30 pm - Vikre program ends, cocktail hour to shop
2:30 pm - wind down at Vikre and load up on bus
2:45 pm - head to Duluth Whiskey Project
3 pm - Arrive at Duluth Whiskey Project, cocktail social
3:30 pm - DWP tour and tasting
4:30 pm - DWP opportunity to shop and purchase additional food and beverage
5:45 pm - Wind down at DWP and load up on bus
6 pm - depart Duluth Area
7:30 pm - Hinckley restroom/stretch break
9 pm - arrive Twin Cities area
Parking information, the meeting location for loading up on the bus, and other details will be emailed to ticketholders prior to the event.
