Join us for a fun, social walk at the picturesque Yarra Bend Park.
Who is this event for?
These walks are for women who live, work or study in the City of Boroondara.
This twilight walk is the perfect opportunity to unwind, connect with nature, and meet like-minded women from your area through a shared love of walking! Come alone , or bring a female friend or family member.

Walk description
This walk is approximately 5km in length. It begins from the Studley Park Picnic Area. We'll cross the Yarra River at Kane's Bridge and then walk along the river to the Dights Falls viewing area, before returning the same way. See map.
People with good fitness and mobility should manage this walk easily. The track is not flat the whole way, and there are some short, steeper sections that can become muddy and slippery after rain.
There is an optional accessible bushland circuit loop near the start point that is suitable for people of all abilities. Please get in touch with us (see FAQ) if you would like to begin the walk with this accessible loop.
Transport options for getting to and from the event?
Driving: Free parking is available on Boathouse Road at the Studley Park Picnic Area but it can get busy. There is also parking along Yarra Boulevard (the walking path down to the Picnic Area is quite steep).
Public transport:
Bus routes 200, 202 and 207 all travel along Studley Park Road. From the Yarra Bend bus stop it is a 350m walk to the Picnic Area.
Victoria Park Train Station (Johnston Street / Studley Park Road) is 1.5km west of the Studley Park Boathouse. It is a 20-25 minute walk to the Picnic area.
