Mark K. Updegrove is President and CEO of the Lyndon B. Johnson Foundation and one of the nation’s leading voices on the American presidency. An acclaimed presidential historian and author of multiple books on U.S. presidents and leadership, he has interviewed seven U.S. presidents and frequently provides insight for national media on politics, history, and civic leadership. With deep expertise in the legacy of Lyndon B. Johnson and the modern presidency, Mark brings thoughtful perspective on leadership, democracy, and the power of civic engagement.
