Women Veterans Day Walk

To honor America’s military women, past and present, we celebrate June 12th in recognition of the anniversary of the 1948 Women’s Armed Services Integration Act, granting women a permanent place and an opportunity for a career in the nation’s military.

Open Doors to Future Possibilities invites you to our first annual Women Veterans Day Walk, on June 12, 2026, at the Open Doors flagship office on The Alameda! The event begins at 5:30pm and will conclude at 7pm. After we walk in solidarity, hear short talks from Veterans and community leaders, and take part in a resource fair. Join us as we come together to uplift and recognize the courageous Women Veterans whose strength and dedication continue to inspire our community and our nation!
