Please join us for an inspiring morning of networking and celebrating the caring power of women! In honor of United Way’s Centennial year, we’ll be coming together to learn more about how we all can support Dane County’s children in their education as we launch into the next century – and our goal is to raise $100,000 for Schools of Hope! Plus, we’ll officially celebrate our tenth recipient of the Women United Philanthropy Award, Karen Timberlake. You won’t want to miss it!

Each year, Women United recognizes and celebrates a woman who is committed to helping make our community a better place to live, for all. The Women United Philanthropy Award honors her achievements in educating, empowering and inspiring young women and girls to be philanthropic leaders in Dane County. This year, we’re so excited to be honoring Karen Timberlake!

Karen’s optimism, passion and long-standing dedication to her public sector and nonprofit work has made a lasting impact on our community. And throughout her professional and personal life, she’s made the most of every opportunity to champion the potential of other women and our younger generations.

We are beyond grateful to Karen for uplifting not only the work we do at United Way, but the good being done across our community. While it takes a village to make a real difference, we acknowledge that we wouldn’t be where we are today without her unyielding support.
