This is no ordinary hui--more like an unconference, where connection, creativity, strategy, play, and collective wisdom come together.
It’s for women who are:

*Advancing or curious about collective housing models

*Addressing affordability and equity
*Creating permaculture and regenerative places to live

This hui is open to all women, non-binary, and gender-diverse people aligned with the kaupapa. Whether you're experienced or just beginning to explore housing solutions, your voice belongs here.

At the 83-year old intentional community of Riverside near Motueka. It's an inspiring setting with natural beauty, community spaces, and onsite accommodation options.

Q: Do I need to be working in housing to attend?
A: Not at all! If housing touches your life — and it does for all of us — you are welcome.
Q: Is the hui affordable?
A: We aim to make this event accessible. Pricing is being finalised. We’ll offer sliding scale options and scholarships.
Q: Can I bring my children?
A: We don't offer childcare but can connect you to other parents to make arrangements. Let us know your needs when you register.
Q: Is this an academic or grassroots event?
A: Grounded and grassroots — with space for theory, lived experience, and hands-on practice.
