This seminar is for women who are already training in krav maga (we recommend that you have been to at least a handful of classes before the seminar). All affiliations welcome.
We will focus on increasing confidence with key principles of self-defence for the ground, look at ways to make solutions work better against a larger opponent, and we’ll work on situations that are particularly relevant for women, and which can feel emotionally safer in a women-only group, such as sexual assault situations.
Open to female practitioners of All Levels. There will be groundwork skills for everyone to build and improve upon. And it’s always ok to take a break or sit out when you want to.
Your Instructor:
Linn Haraldsvik is the Head Instructor of Rencounter Krav Maga. At Expert Level 2 she is currently the highest graded female practitioner in KMG UK. She has been teaching krav maga for 10 years, locally and internationally, and joined KMG's international teaching team this year, teaching at the PGE camps in Italy this summer.
Linn is also a Training Director with 500Rising, who focus specifically on providing education for women’s self defence instructors. For fun she competes in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, so groundwork is one of her areas of interest.
