Back by popular demand, Captain Tony leads practical, friendly instruction on the water with a small group of women in this two day course. No prior experience required.
We are here to support your lifestyle goals, safety on the water, and overall boating enjoyment. Captain Tony teaches valuable information, combined with hands-on demonstrations and on-the-water practice.

What you will learn
- Core boating vocabulary and boat anatomy
- Line handling and essential knots
- Rules of the water and safety fundamentals
- Channel markers and local navigation basics
- Helm time with throttle and shift control
- Planing, trimming, crossing wake, and reverse stopping
- Close-quarters handling and docking concepts
Day 1: Women on Waves 101

- Vessel terminology and anatomy
- Line handling and knot tying
- Time practicing on the water

- Channel marker navigation
- Safety and first mate fundamentals
- Q&A with snacks, lunch, and beverages
Day 2: Women on Waves 102
Tuesday, October 28 | 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM
- You are behind the helm with Captain Tony beside you
- Throttle and shift control
- Planing and high-speed maneuvering
- Crossing wake and trimming motors
- Reverse stopping and navigation refresh
- Q&A with snacks, lunch, and beverages

Captain Tony is an experienced boating instructor with a strong focus on safety, confidence, and calm instruction at the helm. He is a seasoned maritime professional with extensive credentials and has been a licensed Captain since 2004. Holding a 100-Ton Master's License, FCC Radio Certification, and also a Dive Master, Captain Tony brings unmatched expertise to every venture.
