Women on Waves April Course

Women on Waves April Course Schedule:

101 Class Monday April 24th | 10AM-1PM

102 Class Wednesday April 26th | 10AM-1PM

103 Class Friday April 28th | 10AM-1PM

The Boat House Cape Coral designed this exclusive Women on Waves Course to get women confidently behind the helm and enjoying the boating lifestyle. Each class (101, 102, & 103) is taught by Captain Steve which currently holds a U.S. Coast Guard certification along with a 50 Ton Masters license.

Classes run from 10am until 1pm and delivers a fun and hands-on approach that is guaranteed to elevate your boating experience. This laid back approach provides safe education to become a better captain of your own vessel - no matter how large or small the vessel may be. Currently, we'll be using a Hurricane 2486 SD for the course. Please hang out after each class for Q&A, snacks, lunch, & beverages. See below for a further breakdown.

Women on Waves 102 Class:

-You are behind the helm (Captain Steve still has control of the vessel)

-Shift / throttle control

-Planing the vessel

-High speed maneuvering

-Crossing wake

-Channel marker navigation

-Trimming motors

-Reverse stopping

-Q&A, snacks, lunch & beverages

Women on Waves 103 Class:

-You are behind the helm (Captain Steve still has control of the vessel)

-Quick refresher of 101 and 102

-Close quarters vessel navigation / handling

-Docking

-Q&A, snacks, lunch & beverages
