Women on the Wing, Pheasant Hunt with Miami County Peasant Forever and Quail Forever

Women on the Wing: A Women’s Pheasant Hunt
Join Miami County Pheasants Forever & Quail Forever for a unique Women on the Wing experience led by women, for women. This event is designed to introduce women age 18 and older to upland bird hunting in a fun, welcoming, and supportive environment.
Whether you’ve never hunted before or simply want to become more comfortable and confident in the field, this event is for you. Female mentors and instructors will provide hands-on instruction covering firearm safety, shotgun skills, upland hunting techniques, bird dogs, and wildlife conservation. Participants will then have the opportunity to put those skills into practice during a mentored pheasant hunt.
No previous hunting experience is required, just an interest in learning and enjoying the outdoors. Our female mentors will be there throughout the experience to provide instruction, encouragement, and support.
Participants should bring a shotgun, hearing and eye protection, and hunter-orange clothing if available. Don’t have the necessary equipment? No problem, we can provide equipment for you to use.
Food and beverages will be provided for all participants.
Come learn new skills, build confidence, meet other women who enjoy the outdoors, and experience the excitement and tradition of upland hunting with Women on the Wing!
A $20 refundable deposit is required at registration to reserve your spot. The full $20 deposit will be refunded on the day of the hunt when you participate. This helps reduce no-shows and allows us to make available spots accessible to other women interested in participating.
