WOMEN+ ON THE EDGE OF DEMOCRACY is a free community event presented by ETC’s all-female Apprentice Company as part of a nationwide initiative commissioned by the Flynn Center for the Performing Arts in partnership with the Susan Smith Blackburn Prize. Through a collection of original 10-minute plays by 36 women+ playwrights, the event explores the state of democracy in America from a variety of perspectives.
Following the readings, audience members are invited to join the conversation. Whether you’re a theatre lover, civic-minded citizen, or simply curious to hear new voices and ideas, this evening is an opportunity to listen, reflect, and connect with your community.
