Women of Wellness Awards Ceremony and Holiday Mixer

Celebrate wellness, make new friends, and spread holiday cheer to children in need!

This Wednesday, December 21, make time to celebrate and help children in need at the first annual WOW Awards Ceremony & Holiday Mixer.

“For all the joy and promise of the season, there are people facing pain, pressure, stress, suffering, and sadness,” says Karla Aghedo, Esq., attorney and founder of Houston Wellness Workshops for Women (H3W).

“In the wake of the untimely death of DJ and choreography genius Stephen “tWitch” Boss, we are especially mindful of these challenges for individuals in high-stress professional environments at year end. That’s why we believe this is also the season to recognize wellness champions and leaders impacting women across industries.”

Join us as we present awards to Houston community members who are wellness warriors, advocates, and innovators.

Honorees include Priscilla O. Arthus, Shareholder with the law firm Polsinelli; Nosa Edebor, yoga + acroyoga instructor, community builder and creator of the 18-year-running toy drive Trills the Season; and Elizabeth Aguirre, Realtor with White & McCraw Realty. Several other awardees will be honored for their dedication to and support of women’s wellness.

During the event, guests will be able to purchase professional headshots with special event pricing offered by photographer Madison Somerville of Madison Avery Studio. Get ready to put your best face forward in 2023 with an updated headshot!

Spread holiday cheer to children in need by bringing an unwrapped toy to donate to the 18th annual Trills the Season Toy Drive.

The event will take place on Wednesday, December 21, 2022 from 2pm to 4pm at Expansive CoWorking Space, 405 Main Street, Suite 400D, in Downtown Houston.

Free and open to everyone.
