Women of Palestine - Bradford
About this Event
Women of Palestine is a special evening of culture, conversation and solidarity taking place in Bradford on Friday 26th June, hosted by Bradford Friends of Palestine in partnership with CADFA.
The event will welcome a group of Palestinian women visiting the UK from the West Bank, offering a rare opportunity to hear directly from women living under occupation and to share in their stories, experiences and culture. (CADFA)
Doors will open at 5.30pm, with the main programme beginning at 6.30pm and continuing until 9.30pm. Guests are invited to arrive early to network with our Palestinian visitors, meet others from across the community, enjoy refreshments available for donations, and settle in before the evening begins.
The programme will feature live music, poetry, storytelling and discussion, creating a space for connection, learning and cultural exchange. The evening will also include a unique Palestine Quiz — the likes of which hasn’t been seen in Yorkshire before — bringing people together in a lively and engaging celebration of Palestinian history, culture and resilience.
Women of Palestine aims to centre Palestinian voices, strengthen international friendships, and build understanding through creativity, conversation and community.
