Women + Investing Live

Women + Investing Live brings together financial and mining experts for an afternoon of education about money, mining, and investment.

We held this workshop in Toronto during PDAC, and it was a great success! The energy, the questions, and the conversations that followed made it clear this needed to happen again.

Jasmine Marichic, Wealth Advisor, Nicola Wealth. Jasmine is a Certified Financial Planner and Wealth Advisor at Nicola Wealth, one of Canada’s largest independent wealth management firms. She will walk through portfolio construction, advisory relationships, and how women can take ownership of long-term financial decisions. Whether you are building personal wealth for the first time or refining a strategy you have had for years, Jasmine brings clarity to the conversation.

Gordana Slepcev, CEO and Director, Lomiko Metals (TSX-V: LMR). Gordana is a Professional Mining Engineer with more than 25 years of global mining experience spanning gold, base metals, coal, and industrial minerals. She is the past Chair of CIM’s Toronto Chapter and former COO of Anaconda Mining. Gordana will share what the investment landscape looks like from the CEO seat, how understanding operations sharpens investment thinking, and what the critical minerals market means for women building wealth through mining.

The workshop runs from 1 PM to 4 PM and is designed to give you frameworks, vocabulary, and confidence to participate in investment conversations grounded in an industry you already understand. Topics include investment literacy fundamentals, evaluating mining companies, what to look for in advisory relationships, and how operational knowledge translates into investment insight.
