Are you a woman (or female-identifying individual) who has considered becoming a firefighter? Want to learn more about the experience from other women who are in the fire service? Then, join us on either September 7th or September 28th to learn more!

Tacoma Fire Department is hosting an information session in an informal and welcoming environment so you can:
• Hear from female leaders with TFD and the City of Tacoma.
• Discuss a career as a woman in the fire service.
• Learn about career advancement within the fire department and
beyond.
• Hear first-hand accounts of what it's like to be a female firefighter.
• Understand our hiring process, salaries, and benefits.
• Ask questions you might otherwise be hesitant to ask.
During the hands-on event, attendees will have the opportunity to rotate between stations hosted by the Tacoma Fire Department and will include activities such as pulling hoses, EMS, handling ladders and chainsaws to name a few.
