Women in Sport Summit

Join us for the Women in Sport Summit in partnership with Utica University on April 5, 2024, from 10:00am to 2:00pm. The Summit will feature an expert panel discussion on strength and conditioning, nutrition, sport-related health and wellness, and equity. Panelists include Angela Ruggiero (Team USA Women's Ice Hockey Gold Medalist and 4x Olympian), Erin Hamlin (Team USA Women's Luge Bronze Medalist and 4x Olympian), Judd Ehrlich (Director of "Keepers of the Game"), London Hill (Syracuse University Student-Athlete Success Specialist), Maggie McCrudden (USOPC Registered Dietician), and Sarah Calhill (Former TEAM USA Women's Ice Hockey Strength & Conditioning Coach).

Additionally, the event will include a viewing of the documentary "Keepers of the Game," which features NYSPHSAA Section X’s Salmon River High School girls’ lacrosse program. A Q&A session will follow the documentary screening.

A bag lunch and a token from Utica University will be provided.

After the summit, participants will receive a ticket to attend the 2024 IIHF Women’s World Championship 3:00pm Canada vs. Czechia game at the Adirondack Bank Center.

This event is free and open to all, including athletes from U12 through collegiate levels.
