Women in Sport Network

We’ll be joined by Auckland’s Deputy Mayor, Councillor Desley Simpson as she shares her leadership journey and insights on women in governance.

We’ll also hear from sector leaders Dean Murphy, Chief Executive NZ Golf, Dillon Boucher MNZM, Chief Executive Basketball NZ, and Andrew Pragnell Chief Executive Officer NZ Football who will share insights, reflections, and learnings from their organisations’ targeted approaches and the impact this has had for wāhine and kotiro.

Sport NZ’s Women and Girls Strategy has provided a real focus on Women and Girls opportunities through leadership, participation, and value and visibility. Various sports organisations have implemented Women and Girls Strategies and introduced targeted initiatives that have brought positive results for wāhine and kotiro.

There will also be an opportunity to network, connect, and celebrate the contributions you have all made to this collective mahi.
