Join us for an empowering evening of networking and conversation on January 16, 2025, from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM at Class VI Partners in Cherry Creek, hosted by the Women of Mergers & Acquisitions Network (WoMAN), in partnership with Fortis Law Partners, Class VI Partners, and the CU Leeds School of Business Women in Finance and DU Law School and Business School. This event will feature a panel of leading female executives in M&A and finance discussing success in the industry, work-life balance, and mentorship for rising women and minorities in the industry. On-demand childcare service will be available for children of attendees during the event.
Light Hors D'oeuvres and beverages will be provided during the networking portion of the evening.

Moderator, Jill Montera - Chief Operating Officer, Class VI Pathfinder
Jill Montera brings a wealth of experience in scaling businesses and leading teams across multiple functions, including customer success, strategy, consulting, and human resources. At Class VI Pathfinder, Jill helps mid-market businesses enhance their appeal to potential buyers by addressing key value drivers and supporting owners in achieving greater life balance and business success. Known for her skills in project management and relationship-building, Jill is a dedicated team player with a keen interest in health tech and the healthcare industry.
Panelist, Julie Herzog - Managing Partner, Fortis Law Partners
As head of the corporate/securities practice at Fortis Law Partners, Julie Herzog has managed transactions totaling over $4 billion, serving clients from Fortune 100 corporations to startups and family offices. Since 2013, she has closed over 100 transactions valued at more than $1.5 billion, spanning industries such as consulting, cannabis, technology, real estate, and retail. Her unique background includes founding and selling a successful clothing business, which has enriched her understanding of the business lifecycle and client needs. Known for her down-to-earth approach, Julie combines efficiency with a client-first mindset to achieve business objectives while addressing legal and strategic risks.
Panelist, Joanne Baginski - Partner, Plante Moran
With 25 years of experience in transaction advisory services, Joanne Baginski has guided hundreds of buy-side and sell-side transactions, including quality of earnings, working capital targets, and carve-out financials. Joanne's expertise spans multiple sectors, including consumer products and technology, and she is known for her creative approach to data analysis, providing clients with deep insights and strategic counsel. A frequent speaker at industry conferences, Joanne is the board president of the Denver Chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth and holds a B.S. in accounting from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Outside of work, she enjoys sports, hiking, and spending time with her family and dogs.

Lindsay Seefeldt leads the Corporate Development Integration team at Meta (NASDAQ: META), overseeing the evaluation, due diligence, and integration of acquired companies into Meta’s global ecosystem. Lindsay has established cross-functional partnerships and processes to ensure seamless integration across Meta’s apps and platforms. Previously, she held various roles in product development, business development, and sales, which provide her with a diverse perspective on corporate growth and strategy.
