With their critically acclaimed comedic brilliance, Robin Duke, Jayne Eastwood, Kathryn Greenwood and Teresa Pavlinek explore the hilarity of life through scene and song and make us laugh at ourselves until there isn’t a dry seat in the house.
Jayne Eastwood
Jayne Eastwood has appeared in over 150 films, tv shows, and animated productions in her 50 years in the industry. She has been the recipient of multiple awards including The Earl Grey Award for Lifetime Achievement, the Dave Broadfoot award for comedy and the ACTRA Award of Excellence. She got her start in the iconic Canadian film Going Down The Road. She has been working ever since. Some of her film credits include. Chicago, Hairspray, My Big Fat Greek Wedding, The Santa Claus and Dawn of The Dead. She has been a regular in many Canadian TV series starting with King of Kensington, Bizarre and Haven. Jayne was also in the cast of the original legendary Godspell with Martin Short, Eugene Levy and Gilda Radner.
Robin Duke
You may recognize Robin from Schitt’s Creek as Wendy Kurtz from the Blouse Barn or Wendy Whiner from Saturday Night Live or more recently Unhoused Wendy on the CTV series Shelved. Although it may seem she only plays characters named Wendy, Robin has written and performed on television’s SCTV and SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE creating memorable characters and sketches that include The Whiners and Mr and Mrs T’s Bloody Mary Mix.
Now retired, Robin played the role of a Professor at Humber College for 19 years, in the comedy program where she taught up and coming Canadian comedy stars. She is currently completing a memoir “My Funny Life and Improvising Through It” for release in 2025. She has her Grade 2 Piano Theory with the Royal Conservatory and enjoys quilting and swimming.
Kathryn Greenwood
Can currently be seen in the critically acclaimed film The King Tide and two CBS smash hit comedies: Ghosts, as Margaret Farnsby and So Help Me Todd, as Aunt Patty. Career highlight television roles include ABC’s Whose Line Is It Anyway?, CBC’s Wind at My Back (Gemini Award nomination for her performance as Grace Bailey), The Handmaid’s Tale, Amazon Prime’s, Exmas. Her film highlights include roles in Disney’s World’s Best, 8-Bit Christmas, Unless, Poltergeist, Run This Town, The Exchange, and The Kids In The Hall’s Brain Candy. She has written for Elle Canada and The Globe and Mail. Kathryn was the first winner of The Canadian Comedy Award for Female Improviser of the Year and she won a Dora Mavor Moore Award for her work with The Second City, where she spent 5 years writing and performing.
Teresa Pavlinek
Teresa is a writer, actor and producer who began her career as a member of The Second City Toronto during which time she wrote and performed three award winning shows. Teresa was nominated for a Canadian Comedy Award for Best Female Improviser. Her TV and film credits include My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2, American Gothic, the FX series Mrs. America and Y: The Last Man, the FOX series, Accused, DOC and the final season of the hit CBC show, Workin’ Moms. Teresa wrote, produced and starred in two seasons of her original series, The Jane Show, for Global Television. She was nominated for a Writer’s Guild Award as well as a CSA Award for her performance. Teresa was a writer and consulting producer on the Emmy winning series, Schitt’s Creek.
