Women Arts Exchange (WAX)

Emily Cargill and Dancers is producing Jacksonville's first annual Women Arts Exchange on March 25, 2023 at the Brick and Beam event and performance space, located in the historic Springfield area.

WAX will promote, highlight and feature bold, unique and interesting women artists in Jacksonville/NE Florida in the visual and performance art genres. The event will take place in March to coincide with Women's History Month, as we will be paying homage to the important and necessary impact that women have had on our culture, our community and our world.

Emily Cargill and Dancers seeks to build community and camaraderie among women creators and encourage artistic collaborations in the future among participating artists. WAX will showcase the wide array of women artists in Jacksonville and the surrounding areas who are inspired to be a part of a 'women supporting women' event. In short, a celebration of women in the arts!
