Women & Wealth: Building Our Future Now

Your voice is important and your voice matters in these changing times. That’s why The Women’s Center for Economic Opportunity (WCEO) is excited to partner with the African American Chamber to invite you to participate in a conversation on Black Women and Wealth: Building Our Future Now.

WCEO, located in Columbus, is on a mission to elevate women of color, grow our wealth and expand our economic power. For over 10 years, our Aspire business accelerator, pitch competitions, business classes, conferences, and research programs have impacted thousands of women by helping them grow their businesses and incomes.

Your participation in the Black Women and Wealth: Building Our Future Now focus group will directly help us share with the financial services industry, including banks, small business lenders, grant makers and corporations, a better understanding of your financial needs and aspirations. We will also share with them how they can break down barriers that are obstacles to your financial empowerment and access to capital resources.

Your perspective, in your own words, on your opportunities for building prosperous futures and the challenges that have shaped your financial journey are invaluable. Your insights will help us develop programs and advocacy that better support women in our community, just like you, who are on the path to building a legacy of wealth and power.
