Come out for an evening of fun, food, and drinks (cash bar and menu), and art school fundraiser at one of Rio Rancho’s premier restaurants! Proceeds from all art sales go to tuition and associated costs for local artist, Halli Bourne, who will fulfill a lifelong dream by studying for her Masters in Illustration and Animation in Wales, England this fall.
Featuring more than 15 small to large-scale original artworks in oil, acrylic, watercolor, oil, pastel, charcoal, and mixed media, Bourne’s work focusses on the intersection of women, ecology, and sacred myth in her work. She is also a spiritual coach and a yoga, meditation, and voice teacher. In her studies at Cardiff Met, Bourne will explore the symbolism of the Neolithic British Isles and the wisdom embedded in Welsh folklore and fairy tales to discover ancient ways of being relevant to our troubled modern times.
