Women about Sound Songwriting Mentoring Workshop

Need help with a song you can't quite finish? Do you have a chorus but are not sure where to go with it?

Women About Sound is excited to host our first songwriting mentoring session for the year led by Rebecca Melrose aka Miloux. Bring songs you are working on for feedback and constructive suggestions in a safe positive space.

Miloux:
Winning the 2020 Aotearoa Music Award for Best Soul/RnB alongside collaborator Haz Beats, Miloux has earned her place in the NZ music industry since her early years performing jazz at Rakinos bar aged 14. She has been twice long-listed for the prestigious Silver Scroll award, as well as featuring on tracks with “supergroups” Fly My Pretties and The Adults, and with Australian producer Plutonic Lab, Yoko Zuna and Chores. Miloux has produced and composed music for UAE artist Layla Kardan, Bailey Wiley, Harpers Bazaar Arabia and fashion house Elie Saab, as well as her own releases (EP1 and EP2)
