W.O.M.B. (Worth of My Body) is a choreographic work that tackles the issues of pregnancy, motherhood and body image, which can be both painful and liberating.
Becoming a mother entails many changes: the relation to one's body, time and material things, the sense of identity and legacy. W.O.M.B is about conception, continuity and circularity. The piece explores the female creative power and its manifestation through movement. It also brings forth the notion of acceptance: accepting the responsibility, the pain, the change, the inner and outer transformation.
W.O.M.B is a dance trio of mothers, embracing their challenges and showing their vulnerability as well as their strength. The piece sets out to give visibility to the body marked by pregnancy in all its aspects.
DATES: From Thursday 24th to Sunday 27th of March.
TIME: Thursday at 20 Friday at 12 and 20, Saturday at 20 and Sunday at 15.

W.O.M.B. (Worth of My Body) er et koreografisk værk, der berører emner som graviditet, moderskab og kropsopfattelse, som kan være både smertefuldt og befriende.
At blive mor medfører mange forandringer: forholdet til ens krop, tid og materielle ting, identitetsfølelse og ophav. W.O.M.B handler om undfangelse kontinuitet og cirkularitet. Forestillingen udforsker den kvindelige kreative kraft og hvordan den manifesterer sig gennem bevægelse. Og så berører den emnet accept: at acceptere ansvaret, smerten, forandringen, den indre og ydre transformation.
W.O.M.B opføres af tre mødre, der gennem dans omfavner deres udfordringer og viser deres sårbarhed såvel som deres styrke. For stykket har som mål at give synlighed til kroppen præget af graviditet i alle sine afskygninger.
