The album, recorded with producer Eric Lilavois at Seattle’s famous London Bridge Studio, features moving songs that transport listeners into the subtle realms of emotional experience. Gabriel Wolfchild and his brother Elion TruthHeart are a brother duo that has been playing music together since their early years. Gabriel’s emotive lyricism, enchanting vocals and unique guitar work has a way of inviting listeners into a dreamy state, triggering memories of past heart connections. Eli flows smoothly between drums and string accompaniment, while adding powerful flute passages and subtle harmonies that make the experience more poignant and touching. Together they weave cathartic storytelling with dynamic soundscapes, from dreamy shoegaze to heart pounding grunge. The Earth as Seen from the Moon elicits a wistful mood with tales of love and loss, socio-political challenges, and ancestral roots. Their sound is reminiscent of both 60's artists like Nick Drake, Simon and Garfunkel, as well as more contemporary textures like Fleet Foxes and Radiohead.
