Their music is a celebration of life, infusing folk, blues and americana into what can only be described as “cosmic mountain music.” Frontman Chris Jones was born in the south and raised in CA. His songs combine the best of both worlds to create a vibe that is fresh, yet immediately familiar to a broad audience. He is a powerful presence oozing with soul. He is joined by longtime collaborator Jon Payne on drums, Duncan Shipton on bass and Will Fourt on dobro/guitar. Laura T. Lewis adds a captivating dynamic on vocals/percussion as well. The relaxed groove carries a funkier impact than what one might expect. From her hometown folk-stomp roots in Santa Barbara (Rainbow Girls) to her more recent soulful rock ensemble (Cheyenne Skye & The Tasty Cakes), Skye has always been a luminous force of creativity. In the latest incarnation of her sound, Skye and her husband Brian Coe team up for a duo which is uplifting and groovy. With Skye’s guitar playing and vocals and Coe’s organic drumming, the pair will get the dancefloor bouncing before Wolf Jett takes the stage.
