When Furr Fever, a wild guitar-slinging feline, crosses paths with the leather-clad Wolfy Howl, the pair ignite a whirlwind romance and form The Sextortions, a rockabilly garage band whose music unleashes chaos wherever it goes. Standing in their way are scheming music executives, a corrupt mayor and a treacherous bandmate determined to bring them down.  

Part rock musical, part cartoon fantasia and underground cult comedy, Wolf Cat Fever is a handcrafted explosion of music and mayhem from Australian director Josh Sinbad Collins. Embracing a deliberately camp, low-budget aesthetic, that combines handcrafted sets, recycled costumes, and a rock-and-roll attitude this eccentric Australian indie film celebrates creativity, rebellion and the enduring power of loud guitars, with a colourful cast of animal-inspired characters.

Queer Flicks is a series of LGBTIQA+ film favourites presented in a welcoming space for community connection. 

Special guests, director Josh ‘Sinbad’ Collins and renowned costume designer Babzotica, will join us for a pre-screening meet-and-greet and a post-screening Q&A.
