The Woburn Democratic City Committee will hold its annual caucus to elect Delegates and Alternates to the 2025 State Democratic Convention on Saturday, March 29 at 9:30 AM at the American Legion, 194 Lexington Street, Woburn. Doors will open at 9 AM and all Woburn Democrats or those wishing to register as Democrat by our caucus time are welcome to participate – please note that registration closes at 9:45 AM.
Each Ward will hold a caucus to elect Delegates and Alternates. Each of Wards 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 & 7 will elect 4 Delegates and Alternates and Ward 6 will elect 3 Delegates and Alternates. Those who are aged 16 by March 29, 2025 and are pre-registered to vote as Democrat may also participate (please bring a copy of your voter registration receipt).
The 2025 State Convention will be held at the MassMutual Center in Springfield, MA on Saturday, September 13, 2025. This year’s convention will form and ratify the platform of the Massachusetts Democratic Party.
Youth (age 16-35), people with disabilities, people of color, veterans, and members of the LGBTQ+ community not elected as delegates or alternates during the caucus are encouraged to apply to be add-on delegates at the caucus or by visiting massdems.org/caucus-and-convention on or after 3/29/2025.
