Autumn asks us to simultaneously notice the abundance of the harvest, while also preparing for hardship. Rituals of this season often focus on the relationship between feasting and grieving, richness and loss. At this participatory event, we’ll learn songs inspired by European pagan tradition that help us explore these themes, and enjoy songs performed by the WNC Pagan Choir.
What: The WNC Pagan Choir Fall Finale!
When: Saturday, October 25th, 5-7pm
Where: The Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Asheville, 1 Edwin Place
Cost: Guests are invited to donate $5-20 sliding scale, but no one is turned away for lack of funds. For this event, you are invited to bring items for a fall altar (statues, acorns, apples etc.). Items related to the moon are encouraged.
This is a participatory event. Come prepared to sing with us!

Space Policies and Accessibility:
Parking: Guests may park in the church’s parking lots located on Bond Street. There is also street parking available on Edwin Place.
Accessibility: This building is wheelchair accessible.
Guests are invited to be physically active during our session, including standing and walking, with occasional sitting. You are invited to take care of your body in the ways that you need. If you need to limit your movement, chairs are always available.
Please don't wear scents or perfume. Keeping scents out of the space enables everyone to enjoy our singing environment.
Child policy: Children over over 6 years old who can focus and participate are welcome in the space as full participants. I ask that you not bring non-participating youth or children, unless they are quiet babies-in-arms. Email [email protected] to make sure the space will be appropriate for your child- either as a full participant or a self-directed guest.
Sick Policy: If you have had a covid exposure, have any respiratory illness symptoms (even if it’s just a cold), or are just feeling under the weather: please stay home to help keep our community healthy. This space is mask optional, but please wear a mask if you prefer.
