WM Net Zero Project Launch

This event is for academics, policy-makers, practitioners, industry professionals, NGO representatives, and all those interested in net zero policies and their implications for the West Midlands.

Led by the University of Birmingham, in partnership with external organisations and local authorities, WM Net Zero aims to revolutionise regional climate policies with a health-centred approach.
The project integrates health considerations into climate change policies. It evaluates how actions to reduce carbon emissions can also improve public health, particularly in the West Midlands. The project collaborates with local authorities and researchers to develop strategies that not only address climate change but also enhance community health.
