Audition Announcement! Wizard of Oz
Saturday, May 4th 12-3pm
• Participants must have completed Kindergarten (June 2024) & not yet entered 9th grade to participate.
•Prepare & memorize a short monologue & 16 bars of a song to be performed acapella.
•Please note: Participants NOT wishing to be cast in a vocal solo or solo speaking role, are not required to perform a song or monologue at auditions. They are still required to attend auditions.
****THIS IS GREAT OPPORTUNITY FOR YOUNGER SIBLINGS AND FRIENDS WHO HAVE NO STAGE EXPERIENCE BUT ARE INTERESTED IN TRYING SOMETHING NEW.
•Participants should be prepared to learn & perform a small portion of a dance number.
•If the participant is unable to attend for any period of time on 5/4, please submit an audition form and we will contact the guardian about alternate arrangements.
• Socks or dance shoes ONLY allowed on Studio floor. No bare feet!!
•Bring a snack & water.
•Auditions are closed. No observers are allowed. Production team will be present.
•All who audition will be cast.

Important dates :
•Rehearsals start the week of June 3rd.
•Rehearsal days include Mon-Thurs.
•Time is 9am-12pm.
•A detailed rehearsal schedule including who should attend when will be available the week of May 20th.
•June 3rd-20th will be designated for specific speaking/singing roles with 1-2 days including ensemble as well.
•Full cast rehearsals will begin June 24th.
•There will be no rehearsals July 1-4. Family time!
Tech Week & Performances
•Mandatory attendance for Tech Week July 15-18.
