Join us on Saturday, 23rd August, for a talk titled “Without music, life would be a blank to me.”🎵Although spoken by Mrs. Elton, this statement is true of both Jane Austen and our speaker Phillippa Miskiewicz.
Come along for an afternoon of Music as we explore music in general in the Regency period, Jane Austen's musical journey, and a peek at different musicians in her novels.
Phillippa will be joining with the talented Benjamin Lambert to bring some of this music to life.
Starting time is 2.00pm and will be held at St John’s Presbyterian Church Hanbury Street Mayfield.
Entry $5 for non-members, $4 for members. Eftpos is not available and we only take cash.
Please bring a cup or mug, and either a small plate for afternoon tea, or a gold coin donation.
