An international string quartet from Ukraine and Australia is pleased to introduce listeners to the best examples of the classical musical heritage of Ukraine.
Charming and songful, masterful and sincere Ukrainian music is still little known to a wide audience. There are historical reasons for this, but it’s time to fix it.
Program:
1) Mykola Lysenko - String Quartet in D minor on 3 part
2) Myroslav Skoryk - «Melody»
3) Dmytro Klebanov - String Quartet No. 4 in memory of Mykola Leontovych on 4 part
4) Ukrainian folk dance Hopak arranged for a string quartet
Duration: 1.5 hours with a break
